NEW ZEALAND WELCOMED AT GENEVA COUNCIL TABLE COAL INDUSTRY’S PROBLEMS Reed. 9.35 a.m. GENEVA, Tuesday. At the opening of the International Labour Conference, the president said he was particularly glad to welcome the New Zealand delegation, which, for the first time, was attending the conference.
He hoped the Miners’ Convention would be widely adopted, but it was illusory to suggest the measure would solve the industry’s difficulties
