WAGES CRASHING
GERMAN WORKERS FACE WORST CRISIS YET STEEL TRADES LEAD THE WAY Reed. 1.5 p.m. BERLIN, Tuesday. Another stage in the desperate measures to meet the industrial slump was reached when 200,000 iron and steel workers had their wages reduced by 7i per cent. It is believed this portends reductions in other trades involving 3,000,000 workers.
