MR. R. J. HOBBS SELECTED Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday. At a special meeting of the British Empire Games Committee this evening Mr. R. J. Hobbs, of Christchurch, was appointed manager of the New Zealand team to compete in Canada. Mr. Hobbs is secretary of the Canterbury Rowing Asssociation.
