PENROSE BUS SERVICE

COMPLAINT BY RESIDENTS Eleven residents of Penrose complained to the Transport Board this morning: that Messrs. W. J. Wheeler and Sons’ bus service had been running irregularly. The writers said that the 7 a.m. trip ex O’Rourke Road had not run on several occasions in the past fortnight and as a consequence certain of the writers had lost as much as a day’s work. They asked that the board require the proprietors to adhere to the terms of the licence. The board will investigate.
