CHEERFUL WHITSUN
HOLIDAY IS A BRIGHT DAY IN ENGLAND Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Monday. The Whitsuntide holiday was celebrated throughout England in glorious sunshine and warmth, which was most acceptable after the cheerless spring. Less settled weather is foreshadowed however, from Ireland shortly.
