RUGBY TEAM SUSPENDED
STOPPED PLAY AT HALF-TIME DISSATISFIED WITH REFEREE Press Association INVERCARGILL, Monday. The Southland Rugby Union this evening decided, in the absence of a report from the referee, to suspend the Southern senior team "which refused to take th© field after half-time on Saturday in a match with Pirates A. It is stated that the Southern team was dissatisfied with the referee.
