OLD COMRADES MEET
REUNION OF STH BATTERY Twenty-five members of the 6th Battery, N.Z.E.F., attended the second annual dinner of their Association last evening. Representatives of the Main Body and of most of the reinforcement units up to the 18tli were also present, and a pleasant evening was spent in renewing old friendships. The Battery, which left the Dominion at the beginning of 1915, comprised the artillery quotas of the 3rd and 4tli Reinforcements. Service on Gallipoli was followed by engagements in Egypt and France It was the only New Zealand unit to land on the Peninsula complete with its horses, but these were mostly sent back to Egypt, the remainder proving of great use in the evacuation.
