YOUTH INJURED BY GUN

From Our Own Correspondent WHANGAREI, Monday. Gilbert Millington, aged 17, of .Nukutawhiti, had a narrow escape from serious injury. He was dismounting from his horse when the hammer of the half-cocked gun he was carrying came in contact with tile saddle. The charge exploded, but most of the shot passed under his armpit. A piece, of flesh was torn out of his upper arm, but the injury was not a serious one.
