A commission is to sit tomorrow to consider a request of a number of residents at Mount Maunganui for the formation of a town board at The Mount. The secretary of the Chamber of Commerce has been advised by the Hon. Apirana Ngata that it is his intention to visit the district before the sessions open. At the Magistrate's Court on Thursday, C. Dolores and A. B. Cuff were each fined £1 for running their motorcars over a fire hose when the brigade was operating at a fire.
