FALL INTO PIT

HORAHORA FITTER INJURED from, Our Ovjn Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A fortunate escape was experienced by Mr. Peter Johnstone, 37, a fitter, employed at Horahora hydro-electric works last night. Mr. Johnstone was overhauling a turbine when he slipped from the ladder into a pit, falling 20ft on to the concrete floor. He injured both ankles, and was admitted to the Waikato Hospital.
