FRANCE NOT READY FOR NAVAL HOLIDAY MUSSOLINI OFFENDS United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Friday. “The Times’s’* correspondent at Paris says that although anxious to pursue negotiations with Italy on naval and other questions at the earliest possible moment, tije French Government considers there is no hope ol such negotiations being carried out successfully in the atmosphere created by Signor Mussolini’s Florence speech on May IS. The French Government, therefore, has decided to refrain, and in the meantime will not. reply to Signor Grandi’s suggestion for a mutual naval holiday. The “Daily News’s” correspondent at Rome says the Fascist Grand Council has placed the communication in the hands of the Minister.
