ANSWERS TO PUZZLED GARDENERS
A.J., Titirangi.—Aspar. will grow quite' well in Auckland Province. Well dug and richly manured beds are essential if good crops are required. Three-year-old roots will bear quickest, if obtainable. Plant 15 inches apart and 18 inches between the rows. Rotted stable manure, leaf mould or bonedust should be well dug in first. Later a dressing of salt or super will force the crop along.
