Big Matinee for Muriel Starr

STAGE STARS HELP As Marie Bremner and the members of the company of “A Country Girl,” were not in Sydney on June -1, for the big matinee at Her Majesty’s to Muriel Starr, they purchased a box and seats and donated them to

disabled soldiers. Among the performers at the matinee were Edith Taliaferro, Ethel Morrison, J. B. Rowe and members of the “Let Us Be Gay” Company from the Criterion. Gladys Moncrieff wrote

from Melbourne . , that She would be Muriel Starr glad to do any special numbers that might be called for, in addition to an act with Gus Bluett, Arthur Stigant, and the “Maid of the Mountains” Company. The “Love Lies” Company, from the Theatre Royal, presented dancing numbers.
