Both Northern "Wairoa dairy companies show increased outputs of butter in comparison with those of the previous season. The Northern Wairoa company manufactured 2,504 tons of butte»* compared with 2,214 tons in the 192829 season, an increase of ’290 tons. The record of the younger concern, the Ruawai Dairy Company, shows that last season the company’s output reached a_total of 871 tons, an increase of over 353 tons on the previous season’s total of 718 tons. Preparation - are in hand for the installation of further plant to cope with an expected increased supply next season. The total amount of cash distributed for the 1929-30 season to suppliers will total about £500,000. There ar** nearly 900 suppliers to the two companies.
