THE COAL BILL
COMMONS DISAGREE WITH LORDS Reed. 1.35 p.m. LONDON, Wed. The House of Commons considered the House of Lords amendments to the Coal Bill and disagreed with practically all parts, particularly the amendment seeking to strike out the district levy proposal which was defeated by 250 to 220 -Totes.
