SURREY CRESCENT SECTION STOP

Sir, — As a resident of over 25 years in Grey Lynn I think a great injustice has been done to the property owners and shopkeepers between Crummer Road and Williamson Avenue owing to the section tram stop being removed. These property owners have paid high prices for their business sites simply because it was and JLs the natural section stop and the shoopkeepers took out leases accordingly. And now the section stop has been removed for the second time. Surely the property owners and shopkeepers are to be given some consideration. I say nothing of the inconvenience of the general public. The Transport Board will tell you it's a Government regulation that all cars must stop at facing points. I say, let them stop at the points as well and put back the section stop to its original position—a matter of 150 yards. RATEPAYER.
