MOTORISTS’ CLOSE CALL

CAR TURNS UPSIDE DOWN Prom Our Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Wednesday. A party of motorists travelling from Auckland to Hastings had a narrow escape from serious injury. The party, which consisted of two men and two women, was travelling between Mamaku and Rotorua when the car struck a patch of loose sand. The driver momentarily losing control, the wheel locked and the car turned upside down and remained with its wheels in the air. The occupants crawled out, suffering only from a few bruises and slight shock. Minor, damage was done to the car.
