“BOOKIE” FINED £2O
CAUGHT AT TROTS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. In the Magistrate’s Court this morning Alexander Forsyth, a labourer, who pleaded guilty to a charge of bookmaking, was fined £2O. He was allowed 14 days in which to pay. The chief-detective said Forsyth was caught bookmaking at the Addington trots on Tuesday.
