OTAHUHU ORPHANS’ CLUB

The Rev. C. B. W. Seton, president of the Otahuhu Orphans’ Club, presided over a large attendance of members at the second evening of the session at Otahuhu on Tuesday evening. Past-president • Bro. W. McDonald installed the new president into the presidential chair, and congratulated him on attaining such a high office in the club. In returning thanks, President Bro. Seton expressed the hope that the brethren and officers would accord him the same loyal support and co-opera-tion as they did his predecessors. Later, he presented past-president Bro. McDonald with the past-president’s emblem. An enjoyable programme of musical items was contributed by the club’s orchestra, under the baton of Bro. Edwin Parker; Bros. Len Elliott, Alan McSkimming George Wheeler, Claude Suisted, Arthur Austin, Howard Hunter and G. W. Venables. Bro. J. Hutton was accompanist.
