LOST IN BUSH

EXPERIENCE OF FIVE YOUTHS Press Association v. . TE KUITI, Today. A party of five young men from Pio Pio had an unpleasant experience at the week-end. They left home early on Sunday morning to go pig-shoot-ing, and drove in a car to the head of the Mangaotaki Road and entered the bush. They lost their bearings, and were in the bush until Tuesday morning when they came across Mr. Sam Voyce's station. They had had nothing to eat, though they were able to light a fire at night. Search parties, comprising 50 residents of Pio Pio and district, were out all Monday searching for the missing youths, who were hungry, but little ihe worse for their experience.
