TENNIS DANCE
BAYFIELD CLUB’S PARTY FIRST OF SEASON Delightful decorations of cftetT7 blcssom, Chinese lanterns and chrysanthemums was the setting for the Bayfield Tennis Club’s opening dance held in the Symondsville Studio on Mcndav evening. Miss A. Clarke’s orchestra supplied excellent dance music. Members of the committee present were; Miss Kitchener, Miss Smytheman, Miss Phillips and Miss Jamieson. Among those present were:— Mrs. B. M. Lucena, wearing a frock of black and pink embroidered s&tm; Vrs. Man tell, black lace and georgette; Mu. N. Lucena, primrose satin and lace; Hr*. McKinney, black and silver beaded georgette; Miss F. Kitchener, blue and silver shot taffeta; Miss Smy the man, dainty frock of sunset silk and lace; Miss J. Leyland, cameo pink moire satin: Miss H. Hardley. kingfisher blue chiffon taffeta; Miss J. Hardley, mist blue embossed georgette; Miss D. Reed, primrose frilled georgette; Miss Winifred Hill, del blue georgette and tulle; Miss Nancy Staples, sedge green georgette and floral embroidery. Miss G. Jones, who wore lacquer red embossed georgette; Miss M. Hardley. blush rose georgette relieved with bine; Miss Nancy Connolly, ashes of roses taffeta and tulle; Miss Midgeley, turquoise blue taffeta; Miss M. Simpson, silver lace over capucine taffeta; Miss D. O’Connor, duchess blue patterned taffeta; Miss McLaren, sea foam green taffeta: Miss Betty Crane, pale blue shot taffeta; Miss Welsh, firefly georgette and tulle; Mist Needham, geranium red tullb and gold lame; Miss Betty Hemus, green-sprigged floral georgette; Miss Glance, waterlDr green moire taffeta. Miss P. Walker, in primrose crepe de chine; Miss Kennedy, apricot georgette; Miss Mason, pretty frock of apricot rise velvet and georgette; Miss Dow, pastel blue ninon and large hip bow of taffeta: Miss Longley, frock of blue satin and rose tulle; Miss P. Hammond, powder bh*e and pale pink taffeta; Miss E. Campbell, gold lame and lace; Miss M. Graham, mist pink chenille georgette; Miss £. Denham, cameo pink satin and tulle; Mia* Low don, ivory lace relieved with silver; Miss I. Yeoman, ankle-length frock at ivory lace; Miss A. Robinson. Ivory taffeta and silver.
