MOTOR-CYCLISTS INJURED

ACCIDENT IN GORGE From. Our Own Correspondent OPOTIKI, Today. Messrs. J. Ross and C. Roe, two Opotiki motor-cyclists, were injured in Waimana Gorge yesterday while returning from the Whakatane motor sports. Mr. Ross got into a wobble and crashed, Mr. Roe running over the machine and also falling. Mr. Ross received extensive injuries, and Mr. Roe injured a knee. Both machines were damaged. Both riders had narrow escapes from falling into the Waimana River.
