OLD MAN FOUND DEAD
SHOT WOUND IN HEAD Press Association GISBORNE, Today. John Alexander, McDonald, aged 74, was found dead this morning with a gunshot wound .in his head. He was formerly Gisborne borough and harbour engineer, and before coming to Gisborne in 1913 had held important engineering posts in New South ’Wp.les, West Australia and South Africa.
