POPULAR WINTER FIXTURE ENTRIES DUE FRIDAY The Auckland Trotting Club will stage its final fixture for the season on Saturday, June 21, and Monday, June 23, at Alexandra Park, when the 1929-30 light-harness season for the Dominion will also be terminated. For some seasons past this has proved a popular fixture with owners and trainers in various parts of New Zealand, and the card to be presented on this occasion should ensure the same measure of success that has attended previous winter efforts of the local progressive organisation. The programme has been fully published and reviewed in The Sun previously. and owners and trainers should note the important fact that entries for all events close on Friday. June 6, at 5 p.m., with the secretary. Mr. A. G. Mabee. At the same time nominations (for new yearlings) will be received for the Great Northern Derby of 1931. DOMINION HORSES ARRIVAL AT SYDNEY United P.A. — By Telegraph Copyright SYDNEY, Tuesday. Seventeen racehorses, 11 in charge of A. D. Webster and six in charge of B. Burgess, arrived at Sydney today from New Zealand. All were in good condition, in spite of rough seas which were encountered when the vessel was approaching Australia.
