SHOT TUTOR DEAD AND HURT DETECTIVE THEN KILLED HIMSELF United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright Resd. 10.20 a.m. LONDON, Tues. After a Week’s absence, D. M. Potts, a student of King’s College, wounded a detective in the shoulder and leg with a revolver, shot dead his tutor, Mr. A. F. Wollaston, F.R.G.S., and then turned the revolver against himself. He died later in hospital. The detective is expected to recover. Mr. Wollaston jvas interviewing Potts in the presence of a detective when the tragedy was enacted. It is understood Potts was being interrogated regarding his absence without leave.
