WAIKATO SHOW
EIGHT DAYS NEXT YEAR EXECUTIVE’S DECISION Fcoin Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. Despite unfavourable weather, the attendances at the Waikato Winter Show have been very large, although the actual gate takings so far are lower than last year. Today being a holiday, an extra large crowd is expected, and when the show closes tonight it is expected that last year's takings will be exceeded. At the executive meeting of the Waikato Winter Show Association toaay, Mr. J. R. Fow, the president, referred to the sad fatality which marred the show yesterday. It was decided to send a letter of condolence to Mr. J. Dufty’s widow, and to be represented at the funeral. In view of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the show next year, it was decided to hold the show on eight days, from May 26 to June 3 inclusive.
