SOCIAL EVENING
OPPORTUNITY LEAGUE Mrs. Benedict, of the Benedict Opportunity League, entertained the members of her class at a social evening in the Lewis Eady Hall on Saturday evening. The stage was effectively decorated with autumn leaves, holly berries and chrysanthemums. The hostess received her guests wearing a jade panne velvet frock, and later gave a resume of her class work. Musical items were given throughout, and Airs. Bevan composed and read a set of “jingles.”
