Continued progress was reported at the annual meeting of the Hamilton branch of the Plunket Society on Friday. The balance sheet disclosed a satisfactory position. Mrs. A. H. Tompkins, the outgoing president, said the local nurse was almost qualified to begin ante-natal work. For this the society would require equipment costing at least £25 and it was hoped to raise funds by organised bridge evenings.
