St. Clair, of Hamilton, has notified the selectors of the New Zealand rowing crew for the Empire Games in Canada that he is not available. E. Waters, of Hamilton, has been chosen to take St. Clair’s place among the j twelve men who are to go Into train- . ing on the Wanganui River. commencing on'Tuesday, June 30.
It is anticipated that the final selection of the ten men. tu travel to Canada will be made about a fortnight later.
