BIRKENHEAD-NORTHCOTE

Mr. R. A. Singer, Rangitira of the Auckland Savage Club, presided over the second meeting of this season of the Birkenhead and Korthcote Orphans’ Club held in the Parish Hall. Xorthcote. on Saturday* evening. Official visitors were Bros. T. T. Garland, A. Campbell and K. Heath, also of the Auckland Club.

The club’s orchestra played the overtures “Raymond” and the “Frolics of Cupid,” and items were given by Bro«. Len Barnes, A. Hintz, X. Ungemuth, C. Hunter and A. Black.
