LECKIE AND SHACK
BOXING TOMORROW NIGHT The boxing bout between Johnny Leckie and Sammy Shack, which is to be staged in the Town Hall tomorrow evening is, on paper, the best bout that has been arranged by the Northern Boxing Association for some time, Leckie lias jumped back into the first flight by stopping Donovan and Auckland fight enthusiasts will be keen to see him in action again. Shack has been training hard at the fire station gymnasium and the interest that is being taken in the contest is indicated by the large crowds which have attended nightly to see him go through his paces. A good, hard contest will do much to bring boxing back into public favour.
