YOUNG MAN INJURED BY HORSE

TAKEN TO HOSPITAL Special to TUB SUN PALMERSTON N., Today. While Clifford Bailey, aged 21, of Maxwell Line. Awapuni, was assisting another young man to feed several horses late on Saturday afternoon, one of the animals, lashed out, its iron-shod hoof catching Bailey full in the face just below the eye and across the nose, inflicting severe injuries. He was brought in by car to the Palmerston North Hospital and a number of stitches were inserted. His condition is now not serious.
