HOSPITAL AUXILIARY FUNDS BENEFIT ONEHUNGA FUNCTION The funds of the Onehunga branch oC the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary vere considerably augmented as the result of a very successful bridge and “500 ’ afternoon held on Friday at the Epsom Infirmary. The function was held in the matron’s drawing room, which Miss Ftudd kindly placed at the disposal of the committee, and for which she earned the hearty appreciation of all. The prize-winners were Mesdames Penty and G. Paterson (bridge), and Mesdames Hunt and Kent (”500’ ; ). EUCHRE TOURNAMENT A successful euchre tournament was held in the Convent Schoolroom on Thursday evening - . Prizes were won by the followiong: Women: Anderson and Davies. Men: Miss Cussen and Father Shore. * ERIDGE PARTY Mrs. A. Needham, Coronation Road. Morrinsville, gave an enjoyable bridge party at her homo on Wednesday a f tern on. Progressive bridge was played, the prize-winners being Mrs. J- Wyatt and Mrs. J. Boles. Mrs. Needham received her guests in a frock of navy crepe de chine with touches of fawn.
