TROUT STAYED UNDER
CRICKETERS NO GOOD AS FLY-FISHERMEN AUSTRALIANS ENTERTAINED Reed. 12.40 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. As fly-fishers the Australians are good cricketers. Woodfull and Hornibrook were among those entertained today by the Marylebone committeeman, Colonel C. Heseltine. Attired in waders they unsuccessfully tried for an hour and a-half to coax the trout to rise, and though the fish were plentiful they got only fair success. They state this is their first attempt. The cricketers, however, did not return empty-handed as Mr. Kelly carried home a parcel containing his host’s catch of trout, which the hotel chef is preparing for the Australians’ breakfast. A number of the players this morning inspected the liner Leviathan and this afternoon all were the guests cf Lord Forster, who is a former Hampshire player. They saw Sir Thomas Lip.' n\ new yacht Shamrock V. through a telescope from Lord Forster's residence at Lepe.
