INFANT DEAD IN COT

TRAGEDY AT OAMARU Press Association OAMARU, Today. A five-months-old child, Desmond Keith Black, was found dead in his cot yesterday morning by his parents, who live in Arun Street. The child was seen by its mother at 2.30 a.m., when it was all right. A doctor was called in at 7.30 and found the child was dead, probably as the result of suffocation. An inquest is being held this afternoon.
