“Journey’s End’’ Ends After N early Two Y ears R. C. Sherriff's famous war play, “Journey’s End.” was withdrawn from the Prince of Wales Theatre on May 24. The decision was reached by Maurice Brown, as business had lately fallen off. By the time of the withdrawal it had been performed nearly 600 times in the West End. "Journey’s End” has been easily the most remarkable play of the century. It has been given by 76 companies in 25 different languages, and it « estimated that total receipts from all over the world will amount easily to £1,000,000 or more. Reginald I>ar.e, who played the colonel in "Journey’s End,” is supporting Edith Taliaferro in Sydney m th 9 comedy, “Let Us Be Gay.”
