FOURTH ESTATE LUNCH

RECEPTION FOR DELEGATES TO PRESS CONFERENCE GOVERNMENT HEADS TO ATTEND British Official Wireless Reed. 12.10 p.m. RUGBY, Friday. The proprietors and editors of all the most important newspapers of the Empire are now assembled in London for the Imperial Press Conference. There has not been a gathering of this character for nearly 20 years. Delegates will be entertained at a luncheon of welcome next Tuesday ill Westminster Hall. Additional interest will be given to the occasion by the fact that it is the first luncheon to be given in "Westminster Hall since the King’s Coronation, when representatives of the Dominion Parliaments who attended the Coronation were similarly entertained. The Speaker of the House of Commons will preside and the Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Exchequer and leaders of the other political parties will welcome the delegates.
