HEADQUARTERS MOVED The New Zealand Union of Cyclists is shortly shifting its headquarters to Wellir.gton. MR. W. THOMSON, a well-known figure in Wellington cycling, has been elected to the presidency, while Mr. F. Erskine has been chosen as secretary. The patron. Mr. 11. D. Bennett, will of course, continue in that role. Mr. J. A. Stewart, secretary of the union, said that he considered this move as unanswerable, in reply to those critics who talked of “Aucklandised control." It would bo remembered that Auckland had said last November that it did not desire to usurp th« control, and the pledge is being honoured,” Mr. Stewart said.
