HOSPITAL DEADLOCK

APPEAL TO MINISTER TAIHAPE, Thursday. | A discussion on the Taihape hospital deadlock took place at a special meeting of the Taihape Chamber of Commerce, and a resolution was carried instructing the secretary to communicate with the Minister of Health soliciting his support in the effort to have the position improved. The secretary of the chamber received a reply last evening to the effect that the Minister would give the question immediate consideration, but he added that the Wanganui Hospital Board was a perfectly competent authority with full jurisdiction to deal with the question. The Hospital Board will hold a special meeting tomorrow to consider , the subject.
