BLACK TRACKERS OUT
AFTER THIEVES WHO STOLE VALUABLE BULBS
IRATE NURSERYMAN MELBOURNE, May 24. Fred and Norman, two blacktrackers employed at the Police Depot at Dandenong, spent the week-end searching for gladioli bulbs valued at £l5O. They are the property- of Charles Coates, nurseryman, of Bentleigh. During last night thieves visited Mr. Coates’s nursery- and dug up almost the whole of his stock of gladioli bulbs. Some of them were rare specimens valued at £5 each. Mr. Coates took the unusual step of requesting the services of the black-trackers to follow the trail of the thieves. So far their efforts have been unsuccessful.
