WILKINS TO GET OBSOLETE SUBMARINE IN U.S.A.
ARCTIC EXPEDITION PLAN lived. 9.30 a_m. WASHINGTON, Th trs. The U.S.A. Navy Department h*i» agreed to turn over to Sir Hubert Wilkins an obsolete submarine for his Arctic explorations. The Assistant Navy Secretary. Mr. Jahncke, advised Sloan Danenhower, Sir Hubert Wilkins’s representative, to apply to the Shipping Board for the discarded submarine 012. as the navy is turning it over to the board for transference to Wilkins.
