NEW MOUNTAIN SPIRE ON KUNCHINGINGA
EXPEDITION'S DISCOVERY • Times Cable. Reed. noon. LONDON, Thursday. The discovery of an unknown mountain about 23,00 Ofeet high, converging into a serene and stately summit of purest snow, which the Kunchinjunga expedition has named Mudonn:: Peak, is recorded in a cablegram from Camp. No. 2, dated May 8, which a message dated May 23 has outstripped, presumably owing to the runner's difficulties in the Kang Pass. Mr. Dyrenfurth had a lucky escape while cilmbing an ice wal. He fell into a snow-covered crevasse, but was pulled out.
