ENGINE DRIVER KILLED

CRUSHED IN TUNNEL TRAGEDY NEAR WAIROA Press Association WAIROA, Wednesday. Evan Jones, aged 3S, a married man employed by tho Public Works Department as a locomotive driver, was crushed during shunting operations in the Mohaka tunnel on the East Coast railway works this morning, and died on the way to the Wairoa Hospital. An inquest will be held.
