SUNSHINE APPEAL TOMORROW Tomorrow the Community Sunshic* Association will appeal to the public of Auckland for funds to further the work among sick and needy children About £I.OOO is required to make improvements to tlie Sunshine Sch« in Nelson Street, solarium, Community Club and health camp, ans to purchase equipment, and the association hopes that the “Forget-me-not Day’’ street collection tomorrow will reeeiv? the whole-hearted support of the public. The work of the past year has beer, to build a modern sunshine school ©r up-to-date lines. The building is nearing completion, and comprises a doctor's examination room, an open-ar-rest room, a double classroom to bold 72 pupils, various offices and a roc: solarium. This is the first school cits kind in New Zealand and it i ? hoped that it will be the forerunner of many others throughout the corntry, especially in the larger cities where the children are more inclined to be delicate.
J he gift by Mr. L. Arnoldson ox r.:s house at Waiheke is proving a grer adjunct for the treatment of children who do not respond to the usual trea** ment, and last season the result were extraordinary. The money obtained in the street collection will help to extend the facilities and it is hoped that everyone wiL “wear a forget-me-not on Frida:
