SIR DOUGLAS MAWSON TO GET MULLER AWARD BRISBANE, Wednesday. The biennial congress of the Association for the Advancement of Science has been opened. It is announced that the Muller Memorial Medal this year has been awarded to Sir Douglas Mawson, in appreciation of his contribution to geological and geographical science. All the local secretaries were reelected, including Professor C. Coleridge Farr, of New Zealand.
