LADY MOLLIE PATEY LONDON DOCTOR’S DAUGHTER Reed. 5.50 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. The death has occurred of Lady Mollie, wife of Admiral Sir George Patey. 1 Mary Augusta (Lady Mollie) Patey was the daughter of Dr. N. K. YorkeDavies, of Harley Street, London. Admiral Sir George Patey was Admiral Commanding the Royal Australian Navy at the outbreak of war, flying his flag on the battle-cruiser Australia. He commanded the squadron of Australian and New Zealand warships which escorted the New Zealand Expeditionary Force to Samoa in 1914, and also took a prominent part in the taking of German New Guinea a few weeks earlier. He has been in the navy Eince 1872.
