MUNICIPAL CONCERT
A popular “Classics” night will be ' presented by the Municipal Band in ; the Town Hall on Saturday evening ■ next. Two movements from Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, "Oberon” overture, Liszt’s Sixth Hungarian Rhapsody, and a selection from Wagner, ‘ The Valkyrie,” are among_ the : numbers to be given. Miss Xellie j Lingard will contribute vocal items. * Jack Oakie might have been a Wall { Street brokerage clerk if he could have kept from making people laugh all i the time. Too many laughs and busiI ness couldn’t mix, so Oakie became an j actor.
