TIVOLI, KARANGAHAPE ROAD

Two line talkies are being presented at the Tivoli Theatre, Karangahape Road. The first is “Cameo Kirby,” a charming romance of old New Orleans, full of tuneful melodies. The stars are Harold Murray and Norma Terris who will be remembered as the principals of “Married in Hollywood.” “The Return of Sherlock Holmes” is the second attraction. This is based on Conan Doyle’s famous detective stories with Clive Brook giving a wonderful portrayal of the role of Sherlock Holmes.
