FORGERY AND THEFT
ACCUSED FOR SENTENCE Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. After Robert Henry Campbell had pleaded guilty to four charges involving breaking, entering and theft, flhe use of explosives, the forgery of a cheque, and obtaining a car by falae pretences, he was remanded for sen*tence by Mr. Justice Blair. Among the charges were those of*, the theft of a wallet containing articles 1 of a total value of £l3O, of breaking and entering by night the countinghouse of the New Plymouth Harbour Board, and breaking and entering by night a shop and stealing a cheque for £2O and about £IOO in money. There were 11 charges altogether, but the remainder were in the nature of “alternatives/* and to them pleas of not guilty were entered by Campbell, who was not represented by council.
Upon his Honou'rs advice the Crown Prosecutor accepted the pleas, and withdrew the other charges.
