Football Dance
ONEHUNGA CLUB DECORATES WITH BLUE AND GOLD FOR ANNUAL FUNCTION
SUCCESSFUL EVENING
The Onehunga Association Football Club held its first dance of the •season at the Orphans’ Hall. Onehunga, on Wednesday evening. HMIE luili was decorated with the club's colours, blue and gold, and was gay with balloons in the same | shades. Aliss Howell’s Whoopee Orchestra j supplied the music, and during’ the I evening a novelty dance and a competition were held, the winners being Aliss Elsie Bardwell and Aliss G. Insley respectively. Among those present were: Airs. J. Johnson, wearing powder blue georgette, with overskirt of lace; Airs. YV. Lambert, gold satin beaute and georgette; Airs. Brennan, grey silk crepe de chine with rose trimmings; Aliss Jean Birss (Christchurch), embossed georgette; Aliss C. Brydon (Christchurch), blue georgette with embossed bodice; Aliss Lilian Kelly (Christchurch), figured crepe de chine; Aliss Xellie Cameron, green crepe de soie; Aliss J. Turnbull, i blue crepe de chine relieved with pink, ; Airs. VV. 11. Zuill, black crepe de chine i and georgette; Aliss Thompson, pale I green silk georgette; Aliss E. Zuill. aprij cot silk georgette; Airs. F. Porteous, rose i crepe de chine. Airs. YV. Tegg, in golden brown ben- ; galine; Airs. G. A. Randall, nile green | rayon; Mrs. A . Insley, navy blue and | silver grey crepe de chine; Aliss AI. Barj ker, apple green georgette and taffeta; j Miss D. Elliott, pink silk taffeta; Aliss'Mae i AlichaeJ, natier blue satin and diamente ■ trimming; Airs. S. Dale, nile green satin | beaute; Airs. C. Robinson, royal blue | crepe de chine with scarlet shoulder | posy; Aliss E. Smith, eau de nil georgette and beige lace; Aliss ATavis Wyllie, apple green charmeuse; Aliss Phyllis | Rae. jade green charmeuse. ! Airs. YV. Gill, who wore green georgette j and silver lace; Aliss J. Ilowell. rose ! pink crepe de chine and silver lace; Aliss Ena Insley, delphinium blue georgette; Aliss Acushla Turnbull, polka dotted georgette; Airs. Donnolly, black silk crepe de chine relieved with white lace; Airs. Bowers, black silk marocain beaded in gold; Miss Gwen Insley, lemon crepe de chine trimmed with heliotrope; Airs. G. AlcXickle, apricot crepe de chine; Airs. A. Williams, floral rayon; Airs. R. A. Jackson, floral ring velvet; Aliss Connie Howell, blue taffeta relieved with silver lace and pink roses; Miss Aladge Bardwell, floral ninon with uneven hemline; Aliss Elsie, Barwell, black and gold with shaded dahlia posy; Aliss F.
